About Us

The Magazine

Connecticut Gardener comes out 5 times yearly in print and digital formats.

Connecticut Gardener is available by subscription to anyone tending a garden, landscape, or potted plant in Southern New England and nearby states.

From soil to sunlight, houseplants to trees, CG helps you be a connected gardener, working with nature  — instead of against it — to create beautiful, functional, ecologically appropriate spaces.

Our readers are gardeners at all levels, landscape designers & architects, hort students and professionals, land trust volunteers, conservation committee members and more … we have a wide appeal.

Every issue features top-notch writers — from nationally-recognized names to local experts in the scientific community and green industry. We never shortchange our readers on content.

Subscriptions range from $22 for 1 year of print (5 print issues) to $48 for 2 years of print+digital  (10 print & digital issues).

Subscribe today (or get it for a friend) — because gardeners never stop learning!
